God Is Worthy

Revelation 4:11: Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

God is worthy of listening to. He is worthy of obeying. He is worthy of including in our thoughts. He is worthy of remembering. He is worthy of our attention. He is worthy of speaking about. He is worthy of consulting. He is worthy of being included in our decisions. He is worthy of loving. He is worthy of following. He is worthy of trusting. He is worthy of serving. He is worthy of praying to. His Word is worthy of studying. Prayer and His Word are worth giving our lives to. He is worthy 24/7. When we include Him in our lives, it is worship (worth-ship). He is worthy of more than we could possibly give Him. We are unworthy of Him but with His help we can follow Him and walk worthily.

Matthew 10:38: And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

Ephesians 4:1: I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,

Colossians 1:9: For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

1 Thessalonians 2:11: As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children, 12 That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.
